Hi my name is Manuel.

On 13th July 2019, I received my Amateur Radio Class "B" licence and my callsign is 9H5LR, after I attended to the course for amateur radio at MARL which started on September 2018.

On the 14th August 2023 I received my Class1 licance and my new callsign is 9H2LR

I started operating on the 2M & 70cm FM direct and via the local reapeaters which are located around Malta and the sister island Gozo.

Now, I started testing a homemade fishing rod ground plane antenna to work on 20M & 40M bands (SSB) and I am using an Icom IC-706MK2 transciever with 100 watts of power.
